This large, office park renovation was located in Marin County. The project included a custom water feature, artistic concretes, native plantings and low-volume irrigation. Built with sustainable strategies, the following practices were incorporated: 80,000 sqr. ft. of turf removed by sheet mulching, near zero waste from demolition, native and drought tolerant plantings, use of organic compost and mulches instead of petro-chemical pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers. This project was awarded an “” CLCA 2009 Trophy Award. | ||||||
